Echo is an amazing dog to watch in the field. She runs as if she is not affected by gravity, producing beautiful, stylish points and using her strong nose and the wind to produce birds. In the duck blind, she is a quiet, well-mannered dog with an excellent water search and track that you can count on to bring back birds. She was a pleasure to train, learning fast and retaining what she was taught. In the house, she is my six-year-old’s favorite dog—sweet, affectionate, and good with other dogs.

Vico is a harmonious, compact male of medium build with excellent pigmentation, a fitting, typical head, outstanding posture, very good top and bottom lines, and flawless movement. 

From an early age, he displayed his self-assured, especially calm and balanced temperament, which makes him a very pleasant companion in all hunting and other situations. In hunting, he has proven his sharpness on raccoons since he was six months old, and he works wild boar drives annually with intelligence and commendable grit. He effortlessly obtained the boar hunting certificate. He is equally an excellent, composed, and obedient hunting helper on small game hunts in fields and water, as he has also demonstrated in tests up to the IKP. 

He passed the blood tracking test (Verbandschweißprüfung) without recall in the 2nd class and demonstrates this skill in practice as well. As one of the oldest participants, he was able to pass the Dr. Kleemann Breeding Selection Test in 2022. His reliability was also evident in three perfectly passed long-distance tracking tests (Langschleppen) with raccoon and hare over 800, 1200, and 1500 meters. 

Vico comes from the pairing of our very early-maturing and still almost 13-year-old, vital black female Ora KS vom Kronsberg with the robust brown roan male Arrko vom Waldecker Land, who, like Ora, stood out due to the excellent performance of all his littermates and was selected for that reason. The excellent performance and conformation results of many dogs from the V-litter vom Kronsberg, up to IKP and Kleemann—including his sister Viagra, who was able to pass without deductions—confirm this pairing. 

In daily life at home and in the hunting grounds, Vico is absolutely pleasant, relaxed, and compatible, even with adult males of all sizes. There is now a high-performing litter and already grandchildren from him in Bulgaria in the Nasluka kennel. In Germany, there are already offspring in four litters, and more are expected. Vico seems to pass on his calmness, grit, substance, and pigmentation very well.
